Before I go any further in this entry, I would like to point out how underrated the album "Losers, Kings & Things We Don't Understand" is. COME ON! It has songs like Good Time For Change, [one of my all time favourites] Awkward Age, Lucky Day, Wish Pig, Pez King and 24 Hours in Paramus. Awwh, it's such a decent CD. I'm going to listen to it whilst I blog.
So yesterday was Christmas! I got so many decent presents, even though the Less Than Jake concert in Manchester was my main gift. However...I gleefully received the new, deluxe version of GNV FLA [it's the total business, like. There's more stuff crammed into it than what's in your lunchbox!] I also got two awesome t-shirts [yes, the alligator one!] =] and a H&M voucher, a new hair dryer, a pink steering wheel cover, MP3 player speakers, an evolution kid bobble head...and various other cool bits & pieces.
Stephen's Day this year was slightly disappointing though. Worked from 9.30-6 which sucked, because everyone was giving out about there being too few papers, not enough bread etc. it's like "Eh, fuck you. At least we opened today! The tesco pricks stayed closed." To make it worse, I felt shit all day because of my annoying cold. Plus, my stomach was in bits because I wrecked it yesterday, coughing. I must have looked like a goon coming into work, cos Sean took one look at me and was like "Are you pissed?!!" I was there going "Ehhhh, no!? I'm sick, you spa!"
Yes, Good Time For Change is on....like, I'm literally listening to it right now as I type. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of Manchester! Amazing reminder, I must say. I decided to be very Christmassy the other day and I posted a message to Less Than Jake wishing them a very happy christmas etc. etc. and Chris was like "Thanks. Hey, I was hanging out with Mark Cruce last night, I got him drunk!" I was like... =] Tote legebag. I think I'm just going to have to marry him!.....just because he's always so nice to me. I wonder if that has ever happened...if someone actually married someone else because of their fundamental kindness to the other person. Mad. Whatev, I'm going to bed. I'm up so early tomorrow =[
