I've always had this same old song, stuck in my head for so damn long...

We watched a video about Picasso in college today. I don't know why, but Art mostly just irritates the hell outta me...I find the modern stuff to be the most annoying. There's this obscene build up to something utterly bizarre and questionable. Picasso, Bacon, Warhol....uninteresting, if you ask me. I know our society is all built upon this "Personal response" and "Inner thoughts" rigmarole, but honestly......the "Guernica" poses mere disturbance to me. I know it's just a representation of an awful attack on innocent civilians through an artist's eye, but I hate it. I think it's the total distortion of the figures that freaks me out. The only paintings I seem to have an interest in, are ones painted by the likes of Caravaggio and early work by Turner....I guess I just like the realistic feel to it.

I don't think I'm gonna go into college tomorrow, we only have one class that lasts for an hour and a half and I could probably just get more work done at home. I have to finish designing the brochure for the DART logo too, so I could probably squeeze that in somewhere.

Does anyone want to lend me about €1,000 to go to America? Actually wait, make that a very light emphasis on the word "lend." I seriously hate sitting back and watching everyone get so excited about seeing LTJ in March. It's times like these, when I think "Ireland, why are you such a cunt?!" No one decent likes coming here, obviously. If they seriously do go ahead with this eastern european tour in May, I'll be chuffed beyond belief, I'll even bake a cake to celebrate.

I bought this deadly cherry cake in work tonight, it's massive. I think it's Christmas cake or something, but it tastes amazing. I also bought Coco Pops Mega Munchers....haven't had them in fuckin ages! Awh, I can't wait till breakfast now! Tomorrow will be a good day =)
