Don't hold on to your past

Going to see the new Ricky Gervais film tonight in Dundrum....it should be good, he's probably the funniest person in the world. Going with Becky, which is great cos we haven't hung out together in so long. It'll give us a chance to catch up and stuff =)

Not feeling the best today, I think I might read a little more of the book before I go later on. I've only read a few pages so far, but one thing it said which really stood out was "Anxiety: a fear of a fear." When I read that I was like "Oh my god" because Stephen and I were talking about it the other night and he was saying that I was afraid of a fear....and when I read that, it just suddenly made so much sense.

I was on Wikipedia earlier on there and I came across loads of random facts about Less Than Jake. Apparently the song 107 is named after an apartment Chris lived in. Doug Hastings is based on a real person: "At 16 I moved from NJ to FL. In Fl I met a bunch of insane local surfers whose hobbies included throwing rocks through windows, pissing over overpasses onto cars, drinking beer, and all around raising hell. Again its a true story about one night, and my thoughts about not following the crowd." -Vinnie. There's loads more, but I don't remember them.

I'm going to put up some Halloween decorations now....bit pointless though, no one will be here on Halloween night.
